AudioDile is Tony DeMatio, a DJ/remixer who specializes in remixes and mashups. His edit-heavy mixing style is heavily influenced by 80's remix pioneers like The Latin Rascals, Shep Pettibone, Omar Santana and Chep Nunez. He began remixing shortly after striking up a friendship with Chicago DJ and remixer Rhythm Scholar, whose mixes share a somewhat similar edit-based style. Born in Flint, Michigan in 1973, he played the drums and piano growing up, became addicted to remixes at the age of 9 and has lived in the California Bay Area for over a decade.
