Band formed in 2006, from guitarist Mathieu Cote and singer Remi Lavertu, Attrition was at first a progressive black metal symphonic project. But as time passed each member wanted to go for something more self related. So since everyone in the band loved deathcore, the style changed to progressive deathcore.
