There is more than one band called Attakk: 1) A traditional heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California and formed in 1988. They released one self-titled demo and one self-titled EP in 1989. They released another demo in 1990 entitled '90 Demo. They disbanded in 1991. A compilation entitled Riding the Dragon 1988/1991 was released in 2016, it features all of their recordings. Monster Productions was the last label they were signed to. Last known line-up: Dave Anthony - Vocals (Shire) Kuma - Guitar Gary Lee - Bass Phillip Wolfe - Keyboards Steve Pokory - Drums 2) A power/speed metal band from Buffalo, New York that formed in 1987. They released the demos Insanity is Reality and Overlord Destructor in 1988. Then they released a demo entitled We Deliver in 1989. Cannibal Corpse played their first show with Attakk on March 22, 1989, at River Rock Cafe in Buffalo, NY, alongside Dark Angel and Baphomet. They disbanded in 1989. 3) A Canadian power/heavy metal band from Vancouver, British that formed in 1985. They only released one demo in 1985 entitled Wings of Destiny. They disbanded in 1989. 4) A thrash/groove metal band from Floyd, Virginia that formed in 2011. They released one single in 2011 and released an album entitled Sterilized in 2015.
