Atrum Aequora was dragged screaming into existence by Travis Cue, Adam Donnellan and Steve Angell in late 2009, as an outlet for the culmination of musical ideas being formed between the trio and hammered into shape. With the addition of Justin Price to the drum throne, and Jessica-Jade Bruce to the microphone, this band brings together the range of diverse tastes between the members whilst remaining varied from the majority of extreme music in circulation today. Forging together sounds from such musical polarities as The Project Hate MCMXCIX, Blind Guardian and Necrophagist through to Paramore, Atrum Aequora meld their influences to perform some much-needed CPR on Melbourne’s current music scene. With the crushing sounds of 7-string guitars, jarring down-tuned bass, machine-gun drums and demonic growls mixed with soaring melodic vocal lines, Atrum Aequora are sure to give you an ass kicking you enjoy.
