Atomic Mom was a 4-piece Philadelphia-based rockabilly/surf-inspired punk band. The members consisted of Linh Le on bass/vocals, Jon Zemanek and Mike Hanna on the twin guitars, and Mike McLaughlin on drums. They knew each other by all playing together in different incarnations of the Philly-based punk band Famous In Vegas. When that band finally broke up for good, they formed together as Atomic Mom in late 2004. The idea was simple enough: songs that people like to sing along with in bars. And it worked. They found a moderate core of supporters on the local level who supported (and sang along with) them during their live sets. Atomic Mom put out their self-titled album in late 2005 which included their mainstay songs such as What The Fuck?!, and Lesbian Dispute. The band amicably broke up in 2007.
