ATLAS SOUL – Short resume. Atlas Soul is a multiple awards winning band performing original music that celebrate and blend spicy hot Afro-Mediterranean melodies/grooves with a generous dose of jazz, rock and funk! Burning live performances is their trade mark! They have played countless major venues such as The Montreal Jazz Festival, The Kennedy Center, The Festival International de Louisiane, the Boston Globe jazz Festival etc. They regularly sell out shows in the Boston area and beyond. Atlas Soul sings in French, Italian, Arabic, Hebrew and English, making it a truly cross-cultural-music-experience. The lyrics speak of love, ecology, oppression, happiness, immigration, poverty, spicy food... Their motto is world-music-for-world-peace. Philosophically and politically, Atlas Soul hopes to inspire world peace through a fusion of music and culture that gets people to the dance floor. The band leader, Jacques Pardo a cosmopolitan French citizen that moved to Boston in the late 80’s is a composer, a producer and a multi-instrumentalist.
