Atlantic At Pacific is the work of Austin Wood from Santa Cruz, CA home of stoners, vampires, beaches and forests. It is safe to say that he has encoded these surroundings into his saturated, oceanic grooves and synth washes. It's like Miami Vice told from the perspective of the drugged out dudes hoping not to run into Crockett and Tubbs. Atlantic at Pacific's debut LP, Weddings, was released August 24 on Alchemist Records. In addition to his work as Atlantic at Pacific, Austin is also involved in Wolf Feet, Old Arc and his co-found DIY record label with Mikey Sanders of Blackbird Blackbird, Ufolk Records.
