At The Zoo are a four piece indie/ska/punk band from Tamworth, England. With an ever evolving sound and a no fear attitude to song writing they now have a groove of their very own. Rudeboys for a new generation bringing a sense of urgency back to a lackluster scene. Now gigging for three years, At The Zoo are a formidable live band, with a competitive edge to go with it. Their razor sharp sound and toe tapping tunes have seen them impress all who have crossed their path, inevitably causing their popularity to rise and rise across the midlands. Their shows are notoriously euphoric with dancing, singing and the odd stage invasion guaranteed to unfold as the boys refuse to let up the pace. At The Zoo have now recorded and released their first EP, Nouveau Popular. Three tracks recorded and mixed by Robin Housman of Zman Productions (previously worked on The Courteeners and Doves remixes). This has been selling very well and has now been set for a release date on all major download sites on the 15/11/09. To complement this release At The Zoo are in the process of recording a video for each track with the first, Non Conformist, already available online. The bands achievements to date include; being asked to play at the Cambridge Trinity May Ball, alongside major artists The Wombats and Scouting for Girls. They have had further notable support slots with Good Shoes, Official Secrets Act, The Heavy, Elle Millano and Slow Club. Additionally they were asked personally by Jon Brooke
