Germán Pavelek, DJ and Electronic Music Producer from Buenos Aires. Was born in the middle of march, 1984. He showed a great interest in music and computers since childhood. At the age of 10 he began to create his own mixes with radio cassettes. From that point on, his appreciation for music grew and he would continue to be influenced by various artists. A selection of important electronic artists that have had a major influence on him are: Underworld, BT, Infected Mushrooms, Orbital, The Future Sound Of London, Subheim, Massive Attack, NIN, Depeche Mode, Green Velvet, Laibach, Unkle, Photek, Archive, Boards Of Canada, Air, Front 242, Aphex Twin, Lunatic Calm, Crystal Method, Sneaker Pimps, and Autechre to name a few. In 2002 he emigrated to Spain and fascinated by the electronic dance scene in Palma de Mallorca he studied the art of DJing with local Djs Tony R & Isaac Indart. Soon after began travelling around Spain, spinning in cities such as Sevilla and Madrid. In 2006 decide to make his own music and experimented with several styles mainly including: Ambient, Trip-Hop, Downtempo, Big Beat, Industrial, Synthpop, EBM. He developed the electronic music project Astral Darkness. Astral Darkness is inspired by the darkness that prevails in the totality of the universe, by the energy that manipulate us constantly and lives within our minds.
