The Assault Company began playing their blend of East Iowa Deathcore while attending Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. After a series of lineup changes, the band settled into a power duo, featuring Mark W. on guitar and vocals and Kasey P. on guitar, bass, vocals, and programming. Under this lineup, the band has released three EPs: "The First Half" (2006), "Aging Disgracefully" (2008), and "The Aftershock" (2009).
