AskerLadden is an award-winning Norwegian folk band. This exciting group play traditional Norwegian folk music, as well as newer folk music in the traditional way. They have managed to create their own sound and groove, and at the same time they are good at maintaining the connection to the old tradition. One of their hits “Mester Hanevold” which is dedicated to the Norwegian olympic medalist in biathlon, Halvard Hanevold, has several toplistings in Norway. The band have visited several festivals in USA and Europe and their fans love them for their special energy both in the music and on stage.
