There are two different musicians who are called Ask Alice. 1. Justin Spooner (AKA Ask Alice) has been creating music for some years now, starting in the 80's playing the guitar and writing songs in a rock band called Iscariot's Kiss (who eventually became Phliud - check them out, they're on Last.fm too!). Over the years his own listening collection has become more diverse spanning many different genres and styles including dance and world music. You will be able to hear some of these influences in his music. The latest CD from Ask Alice is called Small World it's a laid back, electronic based chill-out album. Justin has always found it difficult to categorize his own music but a friend of his once coined the phrase "rhythmic ambient" and I guess that's as close as we're going to get.
