Vince LaBonté was born in Ohio in 1984. From a young age he was very interested in music, breifly djing at a local rock radio station during high school. With the advent of the internet as a medium of music promotion, the area his tastes grew dramatically. Hardcore punk and experimental music proved to be an important influence, and his enjoyment of various cinema styles (from French New Wave to Japanese shock and so much more) also began to shape his fragile young psyche. At the age of 20, Vince moved from the suburbs of Ohio to New Hampshire, and found there a small but fun experimental scene centered around a Portsmouth house known as Chutney Flatts. Inspired by all the people around him who were making music, Vince tried without success to find a drummer interested in making some strange fusion of No-Wave and Emotional Hardcore. After about two years, Vince discovered breakcore and his life would never be the same. Enchanted by the pure chaos of this style, Vince realized that you don't need to be in a band to be doing music. He named his project after the heroine of the Takashi Miike film Audition, and started recording his screams, sampling, and writing music. The first asami yamazaki songs appeared on the internet in 2005, and since then Vince has continued to refine and improve upon his style. He has also appeared in the New Hampshire-based powerviolence band Buzzard (sometimes known as God Buzzard), and in 2009 he began electronic dance production and djing team M
