Asalto al Parque Zoológico (a.k.a. APZOO) is a shoegaze, dreampop and noise band formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2008. Their musical influences stem from English bands from the late 80’s and early 90’s such as Slowdive, Ride, Lush, Telescopes and mainly the legendary My Bloody Valentine. They bring that old 90’s ‘guitars + samplers’ formula to present and blend it into a cloud of high volume psychedelia.
