It is said that high doses of effort and perseverante is the key to success. After years playing in different bands and different clubs, the members of AS MY WORLD BURNS can confirm the saying and are ready to revolutionize the extreme metal scene not only in their country but outside it too. The project started in 2007 when Txus ( guitar ), Alex ( drums ) and Alberto ( guitar ) found themselves in a dead end after the split of their previous band Freak Inc. Instead of giving up the band started looking for a bass player and vocalist. They found Miguel ( bass player A-Trap System ) and Raul ( Aracnophobico, Ex-Lost Mind, Ex-Autumn Promises ). With these new members the band began to write new stuff that was characterised by aggressiveness and technique. “ LETTERS FROM ALASKA” is the debut of the band, an explosions of all kinds of feelings. The Album was published by the Austrian label Noisehead Records and distribuited in EEUU by Relapse Records. The debut of the band has been recorded in Noisehead studios ( Wien ) produced by Mario Jezik LETTERS FROM ALASKA is a shoot to the head, the album can be defined as a sublime mix of Death Metal, Hardcore, Thrash and strokes of progressive sometimes close to Mathcore. Gutural and melodic voices and brutal riffs acompained by a sublime good taste of drumming.
