As I Lay Dying was a Doom/Death Metal band from Vienna, Austria. They were the result of a name change from the legendary Visceral Evisceration and only managed to release a single promo in 1995, in an effort to find a label to release their second album "Carnal Seduction". Unfortunately, the band was unsuccessful and this promo remains today as the only identifying work from this band. Note: The page As I Lay Dying (Aut) was created in order to avoid confusion with the metalcore band of the same name.
