As A People is Adam Yas (vox, rhythm guitar), Nate Link (lead guitar), Nigel Sussman (bass), and Tim Way (drums). Inspired by their diverse musical tastes (Pixies, Queen, Grateful Dead, Busta Rhymes), the band set out to create a mutant variety of rock n’ roll in 2006. After 2 years of carefully carving their local niche, they entered a Berkeley, CA. studio in the summer of 2008. The result was Carpet Bomb Ballet, a 13-song baptism-by-barnburning. Since then As A People has been performing in and around the San Francisco Bay Area and released a new EP "Way To Work" over the summer of 2010.
