Artworx were born in 2003 in Almada, Portugal, after Carlos Santos (bass), Hugo Lopes (lead guitar) and Carlos Rodrigues (drums) left the band Drakkar. Under another name but with the ongoing goal of finding the remaining musicians (namely Keyboards and Lead Vocals) the band kept composing and practicing. In 2004, and after some rehearsals/auditions with some renowned musicians on the scene, the band finally welcomes Eduardo Inácio(Vocals, Former Apathy) as their new Lead Singer. Later in the year, and after many months of trying to find the right Keyboard player to join the formation, the band receives a call in response to an add posted on the internet. An audition was made and right after that first jam, it was clear that Rui Gon..alves was the Man for the Job, musically and personally. From then on the band maintained the same lineup and is currently in the last stage of composing the songs that will be part of the band's 1st Demo-Cd.
