about

A group who was established in the early spring of 2007 in Písek, Czech Republic, Artfactory has been established in the early spring of 2007 in Písek, Czech Republic, where most of the members live and go to school. Many things have changed since then and right now the group consists of six totally foollish young musicians. Their instruments are two mighty guitars, one vintage Hohner string performer, bloody cello, omnipresent saxophone, original percussion (bongs, xylophone etc.) and a pair of playful vocals. The band itself lists mostly French and Belgian bands and artists as their influences and especially popular artists/bands such as Zita Swoon, Amy Winehouse, The Beatles, Manu Chao and so on. Their first live performance in front of a bigger audience has taken place on December 12th, 2007 in Divadlo Pod čarou, Písek and the warm reactions gave them enough confidence to continue creating their delightfully original music. They usually have a few gigs planned, for more information visit their Bandzone site (link below). Band members: Alex - vocals, Hohner string performer Jara - vocals, guitar Gogi - guitar Klara - saxophone Gabi - cello Honza - percussions http://artfactory.xf.cz MySpace page Bandzone.cz page User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
