Artist
Fast and fun, old style four piece hardcore. Army of Fun was started when most of the members were in early high school and the playful nature yet frustrated tone of their songs reflect that perfectly. They helped to define a renewed pride in youth in Richmond hardcore and open doors to the hardcore scene for an entirely new audience that stayed loyal to the band through their nearly three year tenure as a band. Army of Fun released a demo and a 7" on 1 City Records. They also had numerous unreleased songs that fans could only become acquainted with through continued attendance at their shows. Army of Fun was also loccally known for covering artists such as Negative Approach, Minor Threat, Blink 182, Floorpunch, 7 Seconds, Operation Ivy, and Saves the Day.
