ARMAS TK (Artista at Manunulat ng Sambayanan Timog Katagalugan, Artists and Writers of the People Southern Tagalog) is the regional chapter of ARMAS, a revolutionary underground organization and part of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines. It is composed of artists, writers, and other similar professions. They are based in the Southern Tagalog region of the Philippines. ARMAS TK was formally founded on February 1997. As an organization, ARMAS TK advocates for protracted people's war to achieve socialist revolution, and supports the Communist Party of the Philippines and the New People's Army. It does not actively participate in the armed struggle of the NPA, but supports it through a "cultural revolution" - writing revolutionary songs and creating revolutionary art and literature. Musically, ARMAS TK has released multiple albums, written and performed by NPA guerillas and revolutionary artists operating in the underground. They have released at least three albums: Dakilang Hamon (1997), Martsa kan Bikolandia (1997), Alab ng Digmang Bayan (1999), Himig ng HImagsikan (2004). The songs are written by guerillas in Red zones, and are mixed and recorded inside the the guerillas zones. Their topics deal with revolution in the Philippines, overcoming hardship, and waging people's war for socialism. Aside from albums, ARMAS TK also releases Dagitab, a regular literary folio and Ulos, a collection of essays and poetry. ARMAS TK also produces films and other forms of ar
