Arlin Godwin is a Washington, DC-based music recording and multimedia artist who was also the sole creative force behind the now defunct electronica act Delphinium Blue. Before that incarnation he worked under the name Darkangeles (one word pronounced like Los Angels). He has written and produced 4 full length albums, 3 EPs, and countless singles and demos. He's also been nominated more than twenty times for the Washington Area Music Association's WAMMIE Award and has won twice in the Electronica category. Arlin was signed in 2003 to San Francisco label INgrooves home to a diverse roster of acts including Tina Turner, Thievery Corporation, The Crystal Method, Jimmy Buffet, Jody Whatley, Paul Oakenfold and Dolly Parton. Arlin's first live shows began in June 2004 with a total audience attendance to date of nearly 300,000. Under the Delphinium Blue name Arlin has opened for Crystal Waters, Ultra Nate, Ari Gold and Sophie B. Hawkins.
