Aristophanes貍貓 (real name Pan Wei Ju, born in 1990) now performing as 潘PAN is a Taiwanese rapper based in Portugal. She began rapping in 2012. Aristophanes was discovered by Canadian artist Grimes, with whom she agreed to collaborate after listening to one of her albums. Aristophanes cites Taiwanese rapper Soft Lipa, and Erykah Badu as major influences on her music, as well as writers Italo Calvino, Milan Kundera and Raymond Carver, and German dancer Pina Bausch.
