Lets get something straight before we start; An epic, exciting, unusual or even interesting tale leading to the formation of Aristocrats would be a filthy collection of lies so we won't go there. The real story involves a few bored, energetic and enthusiastic boys meeting on t'internet and through friends. In the years of 2005-07 Aristocrats experimented with several useable but unexciting lineups. Started by guitarist Danny and Vocalist Tommy they recruited guitarist Neil and Drummer James in close succession after toying with other members and band names, but something just wasn't quite right. Enter Jonny on Bass. Click. With overlapping and simultaneously varied musical and artistic influences and tastes, Aristocrats set about writing interesting music that they actually wanted to listen to and not the watered down Daddy Rock and Indie that was infesting the airwaves. Their Debut EP (L'aristocrats!) was produced in November 2007 and was released in early 2008 via Syllabus Music on I-tunes. Hundreds were sold and thousand of plays online helped solidify an initial repuatation as a young, original British band with energetic live show and an ear for intricate attention to detail, which was firmly backed up by the release of their second EP late 2009 which has cemented their prescence on the UK scene.
