Arising Rebellion is a modern groove metal band from the Netherlands, forging a heavy hybrid of groove, thrash, and contemporary metal influences. Originally started in 2013 as the solo project of guitarist Hans Bijland, the project evolved into a full band in 2022–2023 with the arrival of vocalist Enzo “Nitecrawler / Rampage,” guitarist Alex Beekman, bassist Marijn, and drummer Lorenzo Poulain. The band focuses on pounding riffs, tight rhythms, and a raw, driven live energy. Drawing inspiration from bands like Lamb of God, Pantera, DevilDriver, and Hellyeah, Arising Rebellion delivers a sound that’s modern, hard-hitting, and built for the stage rather than trends. In 2024 the band played its first shows and began defining its relentless live presence — intense, grounded, and fully committed. Their debut album This World Is Dying (2024) introduced their signature blend of groove and aggression, followed by singles that expanded their sound even further. With new music in the works and a growing reputation in the Dutch metal scene, Arising Rebellion is steadily carving out its own place — one riff at a time.
