Born in 1990 in Wilmington, DE, Keith Hale aka Aris Sparks is one of the leading Underground Hip Hop artists from his area. Hale has been studying music since the age of 9 with formal education in reading music, vocal instruction, and the understanding of different instruments. This education continued throughout high school, and in the midst of all of this Hale was studying and perfecting the craft as a lyricist. Influenced by several artists such as AZ, Nas, Mos Def, and Common; Hale began to pay more attention to words and the "feeling" behind music. After graduating High School and experiencing different things such as drugs, sex, and life, Hale began to actually record different tracks in the kitchen of his home in 2010. Not sure of how people would respond, Hale put out his music on different social networks, including his only mixtape to date entitled 'Prelude To An Exit' hosted by Mostly JunkFood on 5/5/2011 which did over 1,000 downloads in the first few days. The rest has been history. The constant progression from Aris Sparks has been great, with one studio mixtape, many viral songs and video, the artist continues to express the essence of real Hip Hop. Several shows, blog interviews, and appearance later, still the same artist making dope music.
