about

The musical group ARIA YUNIOR is a band composed of the children from the ARIFIN RIZAL family. The members are ANNIE, LIES, SHANTY, DIAN, and RUDY. The name ARIA YUNIOR was chosen for a reason, as they are the successors of the ARIA band. Emerging as a children’s band, they quickly gained attention, especially due to their mostly female lineup, which made them stand out even more. Their unique formation was proven successful when they competed in the National Women’s Band Festival of Indonesia in 1975, winning second place under the PRETTY SISTERS, who took first place. This success led them to a recording studio, where they produced an album titled APA ARTI HIDUP INI (What Is the Meaning of This Life), with support from talented female composers TITIEK PUSPA and TITIK HAMZAH.
