Are the brave all dead is a indie-rock band from Canberra, Australia from 2001-2008 and was a main feature in the Canberra music scene from 2006-2008. Its members are Andy Campell (vocals), Alex Alcazar (guitar), Lachlan Thomas (bass) and Dominic Shanahan (drums). During their time together they released one self titled E.P recorded with Tony Dupe (Cat Power, Holly Throsby) and their song "children of the night" experienced Triple J airplay as part of the Unearthed Competition. They supported national acts Midnight Juggernauts, Dappled Cities Fly, Koolism and Soft Tigers. The group disbanded in January of 2008 over intense creative and personal reasons. Are the brave all dead has now splintered into two bands; The Fighting League and Assassins. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
