Apsilon (*04.04.1997 in Berlin-Schöneberg; real name Arda) is a German rapper from Berlin-Moabit. Apsilon was born in Berlin-Schöneberg but quickly moved to Berlin-Moabit where he grew up. His grandparents came to Germany as Turkish guest workers. Around the age of 14, he started writing lyrics. He completed his high school education with an average grade of 1.2 and began studying medicine at Charité. After the rapper and music producer Ahzumjot noticed him on Twitter, Apsilon released his debut double single "Sport / Ich leb" through Four Music in 2021. This was followed by additional singles, and in January 2022, he released the EP "Gast." After releasing more singles with Berlin rappers Xaver and Wa22ermann, he released the EP "32 Zähne" on October 7, 2022. In 2021, Apsilon gave a TEDx talk on the topic of "Racist Normalcy" at the University of Mannheim. In 2022, Apsilon performed at festivals such as Spektrum, Splash, and About You Pangea Festival.
