There are at least three artists/bands with the name Apricot: 1) A British V-Tuber who mainly releases covers of metal and rock songs. 2) A Japanese indie/power pop group 3) An Indonesian alt-rock/shoegaze group formed in the city of Medan in July 2018. Apricot started with Rizky's passion for listening to music, Dream Pop, Alternative Rock and the desire to play it. Then he invited Galang (RIP) & Alif, a good friend who likes to play music and has known him for a long time. Then they recruited Rafi & Nina to fill the void with bass and drum. After that, personnel changes occurred in Apricot’s body with the withdrawal of Nina, Alif, Rafi, and Galang (RIP) and the entry of Frans, Pii, & Joe to fill the void. Apricot is an entity that dives into Alternative Rock music by combing many sounds from Dream Pop and Shoegaze bands. Releasing the album, "What We Do" and a promo tour to several cities on the island of Java (Malang, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Bekasi, & Jakarta).
