The “ghost in the machine,” the “X-factor,” chemistry; these words have been used to describe that rare, special thing that occurs when a group of artists come together under a single roof and create something miraculous together. This very experience occurred one fateful day when the members of APOLLOS LAST MELODY united to play and write music for the first time. Initially formed by core members, Devin Frank and Jeremiah Kleinhans, APOLLOS LAST MELODY started back in 2006. However, it wasn’t until Cody Brough, David Ulery, and Dave "Cookie" Cook joined the group, that things really started taking off. What was originally an acoustic group quickly developed to include a much wider set of textures. Always in a state of evolution and progress, the current sound mixes warm acoustic layers with catchy melodies and the occasional dirty guitar assault, and they continue to experiment and expand their sonic palette. The five members of APOLLOS LAST MELODY find inspiration in a variety of musical genres including alternative, emo, classic rock, classical, and jazz, and their explorations into these varied styles result in their distinctly fresh sound. With songs that are memorable and emotionally powerful, the fans can’t seem to get enough. In just a short amount of time, they have already received radio airplay, they have been featured in local newspapers and magazines, and they have shared the stage with Broken Yoke.
