A self-dubbed "country-punk" band based in Jersey City, Any Day Parade lives up to their description. The quintet borrows freely from the familiar tropes of country music - bright pedal steel-like guitar leads, foot-stomping rhythms and big, catchy melodies - and delivers them with the aggression and intensity of classic punk rock. Any Day Parade is Larry Brinkman, Chuck Daly, Joseph Daly, Pat Byrne, and frontwoman Tree. Long a staple of the local Jersey City music scene, Any Day Parade played SXSW in 2010.
