Anvil Rosenkreuz is not actually a musician, but a pseudonym of a person from Russia, N. Novgorod City. She acclaims herself as a project, a medium, as she doesn’t have any music education. The genre of her works is difficult to call “noise” or “ambient”, as she is recording natural surroundings, music performed by other people with different sounds and noises made by common things. Her first album, titled “Pupil’s Trial”, is a result of one year recordings, which is presented in three compositions, which were chosen from that period. The album tells us a story of a schoolboy, who sneaked into the dean’s chamber and was punished cruelly for his action.
