Anum Preto was the DIY expression of Brazilian artist Aerson M. Their music is located somewhere inbetween post punk and dream pop, often considered as gothic. Before pandemics, Anum self released two albums, Inferno Interno and Anum Preto. In 2021 they signed with Wave Records for a new release. The 2020-2021 singles compilation Anum Preto CD/LP came out worldwide in partnership with the German label YOUNG&COLD Records. Early in 2022 it was also released in a deluxe cassette edition by Vlad Tapes. Between 2019 and 2022, they toured in São Paulo, Recife, Fortaleza and Brasília and had plenty different bassist companions on stage, such as Filipe Rizzo (Granito Rosa), Thiago Halleck (Halleck, Gangue Morcego), Felipe Rodrigues (Signo 13), Ricardo Cesar and Breno Farias. During this period, Anum also colaborated with artists like Flor Concreta, mateamargo and Duplicateur Urban.
