Artist
Antonio Maria Montanari (1676–1737) was an Italian violinist and composer. Born in Moderna, he moved to Rome in the early 1690s where he soon established himself as one of the city’s leading violinists. For much of his lifetime he was overshadowed by Corelli who also lived in the city. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
