Antoinette Lammers attended her first piano lessons with Nelly van Driel in Brielle. After this she studied with Ton Hartsuiker at the Rotterdam Academy of Music, where she graduated for piano in 1978. She also studied chamber music with Michael Davidson and she followed master classes with Vlado Perlemuter and Tan Crone. After this she took interpretation lessons from the romantic repertoire (including works of Liszt) with the famous concert pianist Toos Onderdenwijngaard. For the rest she studied works of Russian masters including Rachmaninoff with Joop Albracht in Tilburg. After this Antoinette Lammers learned how to conduct a choir with Jos Vranken in the Hague; for tis subject she graduated in 1990. She continued her schooling with Oane Wiersma in Utrecht, where she qualified for the certificate of conducting a choir and an orchestra. Antoinette Lammers is connected with the SKVR (Foundation of Artistic Education Rotterdam) as a piano teacher. Furthermore, she can regularly be found at the Dutch concert halls -both with a solo recital and with choirs and with soloists- as a much requested accompanyist. She gave, among others, concerts in the Concert Hall in Amsterdam and in the Doelen in Rotterdam. She often gives lectures about music and presentations about 'Women in Music' and gives courses about 'Listening to Music'.
