Philipp Mohrs aka Antipolar is a Cologne-based producer and DJ. He recognized his passion for making music early on, by learning to play piano and guitar as a child. To improve his production skills, he studied audio engineering at the SAE Institute Cologne. Together with fellow student Jonas Weiler aka Autodrive, he founded Studiopolar, a production space and collective of artists and DJs from Cologne. Mohrs’ Antipolar sound is harmonic techno at its deepest, and combines melancholia with trance and euphoric elements.
