At least two artists share this name: 1) Anti-Clockwise is a portuguese punk/rock band formed in 1996. Back in 1996, bored and fed up with the stagnant state of rock music in Portugal, Pedro AC (Vocals and Guitar) and JB (Bass) joined forces and started everything from scratch. After parting company with their previous bands and with a mutual friend and roadie from Pedro’s other band on drums, the trio recorded a 8 track demo and started gigging around Portugal. But the line up wasn’t very stable and next year Hugo became Anti-Clockwise’s drummer. With this line up the band recorded 2 albums, "My TV World" (1999) and “If You Want It... Come And Get It" (2003) and shared stages with bands like The Humpers, Dead Kennedys, Gluecifer, Samesugas, The Egos, The Pittstops. In 2004, the band recruited Mr. Pica as a second guitar player. Between December 2005 and February 2006, Anti-Clockwise recorded the third album “No One To Follow". They sign a record deal with Som Livre Label and the new CD is released in February 2007 with a bonus DVD with four video-clips. By the end of the "No One To Follow Tour" in December 2007, Hugo left the band due to family/professional issues and JP got the place. AC started immediately composing new songs and the result is the fourth album "Love Bomb Baby" (2009). http://www.myspace.com/bandanticlockwise http://www.anti-clockwise.net 2) Anti-Clockwise is a electro-acoustic act from New Zealand, comprising Brian Crook of The Renderers.
