Artist
Anthronica is the electronic solo project of Swede born Antonia Pehrson, started in Brighton in 2006. The name is taken from an initial meeting when house hunting in Brighton. Pehrson introduced herself as Anthronica since it was easier for the British lads to decode. For at least three months they we're living with the Swedish girl believing that Anthronica was her real name. And it stuck.... As an artist know to record and write with physical instruments on a 4-tracker, the making of electronic music was initiated by Pehrson as preparation for moving to Berlin, a city with a strong basis in the electro/techno music scene. Pehrsons early interest in analog synthesizers and chip music is reflected in her productions. Anthronica is participating with the track "I Couldn't Stop You" on a KRÆKA!™ Compilation Series Issue 9, put in 2008 out by Berlin based Digital Kranky. Pehrson is also in pop/punk band Taggarna Ut started in 2008 and also the twee/indiepop solo project Komon stated in 2001.
