Antero Tienaho is a project by Last.fm user impronen. Originating from the central, foresty parts of Finland it / he now dwells in the immediate vicinity of the capital, Helsinki. The music conceptualizes around ideas, rather than genres. One of the most essential concepts is "ancient future". It defines music that is not just contemporary but futuristic, yet rooted to older, more organic. History of things not yet past. If defined by musical terms and genres, Antero Tienaho contains elements of traditional folk music, bass heavy drone doom, ambient and blues. Combined they make a rather unique blend of frailty, emotional depth and dark, even apocalyptic drama. Antero Tienaho has been musically inactive since 2009/2010.
