There are at least 2 bands using the name Annihilist 1. Annihilist was a North East UK thrash metal band formed in 2007, originally under the name Incriminated. The band were heavily influenced by bands such as Slayer, Exodus, Anthrax, Kreator and Sodom. The band had two releases, Incriminated (2008) and Betrayal On The Warpath (2009). Their debut EP ‘Vol. 1’ was released in Nov 2015. It combines elements of European melodic death metal and the new wave of American heavy metal. Two music videos for ‘Vol. 1’, ‘Solace In Suffering’ and ‘Embers’ are currently released, both of which were shot and directed by Annihilist’s guitarist Miki Simankevicius.
