ANNICKE SHIREEN, known as the lead singer of the Dutch witch rock formation SHIREEN, and a performing artist in HEILUNG and PURE REASON REVOLUTION, started producing and releasing music under her own name in 2021. With her solo debut "The SERPENT" and the second EP "DEMONETTE" which included a music video for the track "UNDO", Annicke has been building on her personal repertoire of songs, which are recognisable by her enchantingly haunting, feminine vocals. With her poignant lyrics, heavy riffs and drums by Koen Herfst, and a touch of electronics she continuously re-invents the depth of emotion that can be conveyed in music. Annicke is a very versatile artist who has produced her own music, artwork, stagewear and music videos for many years, and she has a clear vision on the direction of style and sound of her projects. Currently working on her third EP she plans to venture into producing full albums, and dive into physical releases and live performing in the future.
