Annick Thoumazeau is a French singer best known for representing France at the Eurovision Song Contest 1984. She first appeared in 1983 as the performer of the title song for the television series "La chambre des dames" aired on TF1. The song "Pour l'amour" written by herself with music by Vladimir Cosma has contributed to the success of the series. With the song "Autant d'amoureux que d'étoiles" ("As Many Stars As Lovers") composed by Cosma and written by Charles Level she took part in the French national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 1984. She won the right to represent France and came 8th with 61 points at the contest. Next year she released a song titled "Mon ami bisounours" which was the soundtrack of French movie " Les bisounours".
