Annemarie Eilfeld (born May 2, 1990 in Wittenberg, Saxony-Anhalt) is a German singer and songwriter, best known for being a former contestant of Deutschland sucht den Superstar. Annemarie Eilfeld was born in Wittenberg, Germany. Later, the family moved to Dessau-Roßlau. At the age of seven, she began her education in music and dance. In the following years, she took part in various local song competitions. In 2004, she participated in Germany’s casting show “Star Search 2” and qualified for the finals. Later the same year, her debut single “C the light” was released under the pseudonym “Anne Marie”. Between 2005 and 2008, she occasionally performed on stage with different local bands and has once served as an opening act for Christina Stürmer and the Bloodhound Gang, respectively. In 2009's casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar due to the support by German tabloid Bild-Zeitung she made it to the top three despite much criticism by the jury. Starting from June, 2009 Annemarie acts in a guest appearance in Germany’s popular soap opera “Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten”.
