Artist
Born in 1971 in France, Anne Gastinel started playing cello when she was 4. She gave her first televised concert with orchestra when she was 10 and a year later she was accepted by Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon. Since 1989 she has recorded 14 albums, mostly chamber music with orchestras. Since 2008, she is honorary president of the Festival Montmerle, in Montmerle-sur-Saone, which takes place the last weekend of September.
