Artist
Annabell Di Miceli better known by her stage name Anna Who?, is a singer-songwriter who was born in the South of Germany. Her first EP "This is no Death Metal" was released on 27.09.2011 (Bullfrog Records). The Indie-Pop-Songs are recorded in a very pure way without much mixing and mastering. She chose "Who?" within the title because of the misspelling and wrong pronunciation of her last name. She wants to point at the male domination in music buisness as well. Biography: At the age of 12 she started to write songs in English, with 17 to learn the guitar. After playing in many bands, she formed the band Skill Variety in 2008 (Riot Grrl, afterwards Alternative). She released the album "Telephone Rockn Roll" and the music video for the single "Robot Dance". The influence of Folk-Pop gave her music a new direction, in 2010/2011 she played more acoustic songs, which were first promoted on youtube under the name "The Versus Cannys" with "White wall" sessions. She wrote the song "Stop talking, start planting" for the campaign "Plant for the planet". The video she uploaded on youtube was also supported by the campaign. 2012 was filled with gigs and live-videos. A feature-track with Ian Warsaw followed. In 2013 the soloproject Anna Who? is going to become a band. The music style will change back to IndieRock with pop influences.
