Born in London to parents of Caribbean descent, Anita Nicole excelled in both academics and sports at school. However, it was music Anita wanted to do all along and after hearing a radio interview with Katie Melua on Robert Elm’s BBC London show, she decided to audition for The Brit School, the renowned performing arts school with an alumni list which reads like a whose who of current day pop music. Adele, Jessie J, Leona Lewis and Amy Winehouse all went to the prestigious school and Anita used her experience at Brit to hone her craft and find herself as an artist. Multiple live performances later, including being hand picked from classmates to perform at the Crystal Palace Player of the year awards, and Lionel Blair rising from his seat at the Croydon Charity ball, she has finally finished her debut EP and is ready to unleash her music to the world.
