Artist
Anima Mortuum means Dead Soul in Latin (Ánima = Soul; Mortuum = Dead), the meaning is related to the change of the structure of thoughts, transcending through the sacrifice of the mind, building a new way of thinking, without death there is no renaissance. The band was born in 2003 in the city of Arica under the name of Anima Di Morte, however, the band had a short time of existence leaving just 2 demos recorded. After the dissolution, Zvi Tacussis (guitar and voice), continued making music in other musical projects. In 2012 Zvi decides to re-record the old songs of Anima Di Morte, but making a change of the project's name, releasing the album The Return in 2013 (after 10 years of Anima Di Morte)... And from then on a new entity was born - Anima Mortuum. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
