Aniada a Noar (Styrian Dialect for "Everybody´s a kind of fool") Aniada a Noar, this means four musicians playing together since 1983, 21 years live on stage. Today one of the favourite folkbands in Austria. The musical roots of ANIADA A NOAR have the origin in the traditional Austrian folk music. The group has succeeded in developing an own style of Austrian folk music, which is already appreciated abroad, especially in neighbouring countries, but also in France (Styrian culture delegation in September 2001) or England (Folk Roots). Changes or renewing of the traditional kind of folk music have never been stressing some additional aspects and the constant contact to folk musicians – which means a vivid perception of folk music – combined with a steady participation: concert halls, in pubs, on dancing floors, everywhere… Wolfgang Moitz: accordion, flutes, bagpipe, jaws harp, vocals Bertl Pfundner: accordeon, mandoline, guitar, vocals Michael Krusche: violin, guitars, jaws harp, vocals Andreas Safer: violin, mandolin, jaws harp, bagpipe, singing saw, vocals User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
