Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico on March 1, 1965 I began my music career at the age of 11. I started playing the clarinet and moved on to the alto saxophone by middle school. As a freshman at Hartford Public High School in Connecticut I won first seat in the high school band. in 1983 I was invited to place first seat at the "Hartford All Star Jazz Band" and the "Connecticut All Star Jazz Band!" At the age of 18, I was given a full music scholarship to the University of Connecticut and was hired to play with "Orquesta Unidad" for my first professional debut! I got to perform on stage with many famous bands and artist including Doming Quinones, Roberto Lugo! At the age of 24 I moved to Puerto Rico and became the musical director of "Orquesta Detalles" and finally had my first song and arrangement "Amor Secreto* on the radio! My songs and arrangements were recorded by Ramon Orlando and his band at EMCA studios in Santo Domingo! By the age of 29 I could no longer play the saxophone due to repetitive stress injuries and my musical career almost came to and end! I could no longer play the saxophone but I moved back to Connecticut and started learning the piano and also started to sing! I rejoined a former group "La Ciencia Latina", became the key board player and had another song "Navidad Sin Ti" on the radio as well. in 1995 I moved to South Carolina with my son and this is where I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior!
